Aquarium Hopes to Tap New Water Source at Mouth of LA River

A plan for a new water intake system will be voted on this week that could allow the Aquarium of the Pacific to draw up to 50,000 gallons a day through a pump placed under a pier at the mouth of the Los Angeles River.
